CFSP

The importer or agent must be pre-approved to use the CFSP, and as part of this process they will have demonstrated that they have the necessary internal controls to ensure accurate statements. Therefore, their resulting imports are subject to significantly less scrutiny.

The time delay between sending the consignment and the deadline for submitting the additional statement allows for complete data extraction from internal systems. Changes can be taken into account and the reporting workload is reduced.

The CFSP registration relates to the declarant’s name and general description of the goods. More information about the transport used and the number of packages in the shipment should also be provided. We will need to be informed about when a shipment will be made, by which vehicle it will arrive, and the number of containers that make up the shipment. At the end of each week and at the end of each month, we will ask you to provide a more detailed report of the submissions made in Excel.
